The criminal budget from hell.

Welcome to Ireland. The bankrupt country that pays its leader a whopping €200,000 a year and thats before his unvouched expenses and salaries for his "special advisers" are considered. Ireland is a country where every member of parliament is paid a whopping €92,000 per year and thats before their generous expenses are considered. You would think this would be the first place any sane person would look for cuts in times of austerity, however, not in Ireland. Instead the cuts are directed at people caring for the disabled, the cuts are directed at children, essentially cuts are directed at the weak and voiceless.

Last year in Ireland our members of parliament cost us €31,000,000 in salaries and expenses. Its not known how much the cut to respite care will cost, however its pretty safe to assume a removal of all politician expenses and halving their salaries would go a long way to making this saving.

The budget also attacks the lowest paid. Taking €5 per week from almost everybody. A person on €200,000 per year will lose the same as somebody on €21,000 per year. Yet another act that protects the rich while penalising the poor.

All this from a government that continues to pay millions to bondholders week after week.

Its time for the people of Ireland to wake up and begin the fightback against the criminal cabal stealing from the citizens of the country.

Join The Fightback

Its 18 months since the people of Ireland booted Fianna Fail from office and elected the new government of Fine Gael and Labour. Both parties promised a change of direction for the country, no more money for corrupt and bankrupt banks, Labours way and not Frankfurts way. Remember how passionate Gilmore was back then?

Have we seen or heard much from him since then? No. Gilmore has gone into hiding. Gilmore the fake socialist now implementing the right wing policies of the EU and IMF while the citizens of Ireland face a decline in living standards and cutbacks to essential services like health.

Next month, a bank owned by the people of Ireland will pay €1 billion to a bondholder. This is at the same time as the Minister for Health is implementing serious cuts to the people that need help the most. We are not seeing any cutbacks for politicians though. The same Minister is also in trouble over a debt of €1.9 million that he failed to pay. So much for the "new politics" promised by Enda Kenny. Kenny is no different to any of the FF leaders before him as he is a spoofer only interested in power.

On Tuesday 18th of September, the politicians return from their lengthy summer holidays. Its our duty to be at the gates when they return to give them a welcome back that they will never forget. Remember, these politicians do not rule us, they answer to us. This is our country and we elected them based on their promises to stop paying off bondholders and doing whatever the fascists in the EU tell them to do. Now its our time to show these politicians who really has the power in Ireland, us the citizens. We will not be lied to and treated like fools.

Next Tuesday, we will gather at the Garden of Remembrance at 1pm. We will then march to the Dail and demand answers from the crooked politicians that are responsible for wrecking our country. We are going to stay outside and make plenty of noise and let them know just who is boss. Please join us and show your support, bring whistles and drums and anything else that will make noise.

The fightback starts here, the resistance to the agenda of cuts begins. Its time the politicians did what they promised, because if they dont then we are coming after them and they will be very sorry.

Would you like a €50k Top-Up?

Times are tough, we all must share the pain. Special needs teachers are being cut, the weakest in our society are paying for the actions of the bankers and the politicians. Think of Enda Kenny, the man that never shouted "STOP" at Bertie Ahern destroyed the country. Poor old Enda was on about €100k last year. This was not enough for him, so lets give him a €50k top-up? Yeah, lets do that. Sure while we are at it, lets give Eamon Gilmore a €40k top-up? They deserve it.

More money was paid to all the parties, and naturally enough, no receipts are needed. Just a handwritten note saying how they spend the money. Seeing as Ireland is a republic, and we are all to be treated equally, maybe its time for all of us to claim "expenses" with no receipts when the tax man comes looking for more money to give to Anglo bondholders.

No wonder Ireland is bankrupt with corrupt politicians like these filling their pockets with cash while giving the rest of us 2 fingers.

NAMA is now spending €1 million per working day.

On Primetime this evening, it was revealed that NAMA is spending €1 million of our cash per day. The breakdown is

€78 million to banks for admin fees
€75 million for insolvency
€45 million for staff
€25 million for legal fees
€10 million on professional fees.

We have already pumped in over €30 billion to take the dodgy loans off the banks balance sheets.

The worst part of this sorry story is that we cannot find out whats really going on inside NAMA, as its exempt from freedom of information requests. As ever in Ireland, if there is a shroud of secrecy around something, it normally means something fishy is going on.

From what we can see, the people that caused the mess are now being paid by NAMA to sort it out, and being paid very well. There is no austerity for these crooks.

This make it all the more clear why we all must refuse to pay the household charge next month.

Why did Greyhound get the Dublin bin collection contract?

Its very odd the way Dublin City Council handed over the bin collection service to Greyhound Recycling. There appears to have been no tender process, and even funnier is the fact that Greyhound's head office is now based in the Isle of Man. How did Greyhound manage to get an Irish tax clearance cert if they are not even based in Ireland? How did a company based in a foreign country win such a contract. Even more interesting is what happened just before Greyhound moved its head office from Ireland to the Isle of Man. They were caught overcharging Irish Rail, and had to make a settlement of over €1 million. So, they were caught conning one government company, and then they are given a nice contract with another.

Something smells here.

Greyhound are demanding that customers pay in advance for the bin collection service, so customers must prepay for the services. What happens if Greyhound goes bust? Why is this money not held in trust. Have Greyhound paid into any bond just in case something goes wrong?

All this coming at a time that the government is expecting us all to pay a €100 household charge to pay for local services.

Keep the pressure up on TD's to find out what really want on here, because the stink of rat is overpowering.

The waste goes on and on and on.

Another day, another few thousand Euro's down the drain. Just 2 years ago, when Green looney John Gormley decide to spend over €100k country frogs Enda Kenny went mad. What does Enda do when he gets into government? He comes up with a plan to count the number of seals around Ireland. This news comes on the same day that we find out that Kenny's department spent a whopping €30k on photographers last year. Seems its austerity for us, while Kenny and his chums live the high life.

Enda gets another holiday today as he is off to the USA again, no doubt more lavish dinners and expensive wine, just one week after he was there on another trip. Some have the life eh? And guess what suckers are paying for it all? Us.

Looks like there is no difference between Kenny, Cowen, Ahern and Haughey.
